Ta-da! Presenting one of the books I so badly wanted to read! Anyway, I have gotten this book in surprises out of boxes for a low price. Awesome, right?
Anyway, the truth was, the reason I wanted to read this book was because I saw the movie trailer of it. It was amazing, like it kept on replaying in my head. It was really great and so funny.
The book was great too, but not 5-cookies great. The stories of the four girls were all awesome. I really love Carmen's and Lena's stories but it was like Tibby's and Bridget's summer were not told well. Like it was too short. And I think Ann wrote more about Carmen's life, and I think it's quite unfair. You know, they needed to share the same spotlight too. ;)
But the book was worth the read! Seriously! However, there were parts which were boring. But all books had those parts, had not they? I mean humans weren't perfect and so books, right?
Though, honestly, I expected more out of this book. More twists and stories maybe? Why do I wrote so many rhetorical questions? And (SPOILER ALERT!) men for Tibby. It felt like among the four, Tibby had the most lame summer. Sorry for the words..
(This part is safe to read already!) I am sure everyone would be able to relate to this novel because I think everyone already experience those times, when one is away from his/her friends for a loooong time. For me, a day is already a looooong time.

So during my birthday, we went to a mall and the first thing I did was to check this book because this was the book I wanted to have for my birthday. Sadly, I still need to force my mother (let's just say I made a deal with her) before she finally bought it.
The thing I really loved about this book were the old photographs included in here, it added some twist into it. But there were parts of the story were in it was like just inserted there to support the picture.
This book gave me chills. Srsly, there was even a time when I was afraid to go to bed because of this. Though what I did not liked was the flow of the story. At first, the flow was slow then when it reached the middle, it felt liked it fast-forward.
And the ending! EMEGED, it was a total cliff hanger. Like it was cut. I even imagined that maybe the publisher thought that the book was so long. So to lessen the cost, they just removed the last chapters! But it was not! (Yet I still loved it)
But I swear, if this book does not have a continuation.. I WILL.. uh, I can not think of anything. lol.
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a combination of a mystery/spooky novel and an interesting photo album. Delicious page-turner!

You know what I love about this? It's Darcy herself! The idea of her as a protagonist and an antagonist at the same time is something new to me. Yes, she's perfect but at the same time she's loveless. Though at first you'll hate Darcy - especially if you've read "Something Borrowed"already- but then at the end you'll realize that she's just a normal girl lured by the idea of pretty girls having so many suitors.
To chick-lit fans out there, read this. You'll never be disappointed. I just remembered a while ago, I joined this giveaway and I was ask to comment a book which has a satisfying ending and this is what I've answered! Though the ending's something I already expected and already guessed while I'm only just a hundred pages away from the ending, still I am satisfied on how Emily Griffin ended Darcy's love story.
But, beware, it's for 13 years old and above because there are scene or scenes that for me is not age appropriate. So how many cookies?
..there was a princess who was named as Sherinderella. And she has a blog. And you were already there. lol. Just Keep Calm and enjoy Your stay. Be careful you might encounter flying brooms with wizards or cyclops with peanut butters. Or hot guys like Harry Styles.♥
